Hello, I’m Preston Thomas, an Art Director and Graphic Designer with  experience working in a variety of industries with recent projects in Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Legal, Publishing, and Tourism.

Currently, I’m working on a digital learning project for Rosetta Stone to teach English as a second language where I’m art directing a small team of designers and creating highly graphic visual stories for the platform.  

I’m a strong design professional skilled in advertising (print and web), branding, books, digital design, email marketing, logo design, magazines, posters, powerpoint presentations, and web graphics.

My technical skills include mastery in Adobe CS, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, Microsoft Office Suite including Powerpoint and I have a working knowledge of HMTL, CSS and WordPress. I hold a BFA in Visual Communications from University of Delaware and a multimedia certificate from San Francisco State University.

When I’m not selecting typefaces and developing visuals, you’ll find me out on the trails. A few years ago, I broke into sport of ultra running (any run longer than a marathon) and have been racing 100K and 100-Milers in Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. My next adventure might be fast packing the John Muir Trail (211 Miles) or Tahoe Rim Trail (170 miles).
